My Name is Mohamed Aslam. I am a Sun Certified Professional and an independent freelance web developer, visual designer, writer and an undergraduate of Information Technology. I live in beautiful city of Kandy, Sri Lanka.

I highly focus on open source development technologies and platforms. Yeah! I am a Free and Open Source Software lover. But I still stick with windows to play with Adobe’s products for visual designs.

Photoshop is my secret weapon to my visual designs. I use Illustrator for creating logos and Fireworks for slicing and optimizing the images for web.

I always love to teach what I learn. There for I’m running a Photoshop tutorial website called “Photoshop Family” and hope to start a Photoshop screencast website very soon. Also I frequently post articles on web development in my blog.

Since I’m a web developer I spend most of the time in front of the computer allowing my fingers to dance on the keyboard. It really annoys my family members that I’m always with the computer. ! However I really enjoy learning new technologies every day.

Although I’m a Sun certified Professional I prefer web development than desktop application development. I believe it’s in my soul. I’ve mastered in following technologies.
